If one continues to only worry about the obstacles before them, they might never discover how incredibly able and sophisticated they are at solving such problems. And if they continue to feed their fears and allow other people's opinions to dictate how they go about their goals or activities, they might never really get anything done. This is how most people get stuck and lose control of their lives and destinies.

In the children's storybook, Jade’s Writing Journey: Beyond the Blank Page, written by Joycelyn B. Robinson, we read about Jade's struggle with creative writing. It's clear the girl has a promising future and yearns to write stories and share them with people, but then she is held back by fear and self-doubt. The result is that nothing gets done: her writing material remains blank, yesterday, today, and perhaps forever—unless something drastic and decisive is done.

As children grow and make sense of their environment and realities, both within and without them, or try to figure out what they are good at, they are faced with a plethora of challenges. In this case, our main character is faced with doubts and a fear of the unknown. Her stagnancy during these difficult times shows how dangerous such challenges can be to both childhood and adult lives if left unresolved.

Jade's decision to reinvent herself is inspirational. Her positive affirmations, attempts at creating a glorious writing future and bringing it to the present, her discoveries, and the shift in her mentality and physical output are remarkable and impactful. Jade's personal adventures and empowerment are crafted to match each letter of the alphabet, which I found to not only be really creative but also make the reading more fun and influential.

Considering the aforementioned merits, the error-free text, the bright illustrations, and the absence of any complaints, I am delighted to rate Jade’s Writing Journey: Beyond the Blank Page 5 out of 5 stars. I recommend it to every child.

This is where Jade's Writing Journey: Beyond the Blank Page finds its particular place and potential place of recognition. It is a contemporary book that gives personal writing a political voice. In a world that censors to some extent authentically rendered personal life stories, a book like Jade's is important. It uses personal experience as a way of breaking through, but it also acquires a full moral circle by teaching others to use words in ways that are similarly expressive and liberating. Jade Bridge has used words to express her intimate experience. She has also mastered words sufficiently to be able to teach that experience.

Books on writing seem to be published in ever-increasing numbers. They vary widely in their subject matter and appeal to a wide variety of readers. In contemporary times, when there is an increased interest in personal narratives, memoirs, and diaries, many stories of successful writing women have come into circulation. These narratives interest us for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that the woman author is telling a compelling personal story. Rhetorically, externally, and societally, we are drawn to read about women who tell others how to write. At a more intimate level, we are also drawn to understand and appreciate their personal writing journeys as a reflection of some experience that we might also share.

This journey originated with Jade Varden appearing as a guest during the Australian Romance Readers’ Association’s April 2013 author spotlight and included a podcast. A series of interesting guest posts were presented – outlining the twists and turns of being a writer. We’ve had success interviews with several of the Indie writers of the Sea, and usually one common question revolves around their pathway to becoming a writer. So it is obvious that many readers are fascinated by the diverse and often rocky ride that authors can undertake. To fill in the gaps over time, and despite considerable personal difficulties, Jade has created her pathway, described in this effort, where she shares her trials and tribulations at being a writer from her time as a child who loved the written word to actually becoming an author/compiler.

Although many of us are voracious readers, we may not automatically think about the author and what went into producing those pages of entertainment that capture our attention. So it’s great to be able to discover the journey of an author. That is the significant feature of this book. Whether we love a current thriller, a cozy mystery, chic lit, or the romance genre – when we pick up a new novel, how great it is to think we know a lot more about the person who wrote these words that can mesmerize us for hours. We can discover that it is the love of words, challenges to discover who the characters are, and how the story line develops, with its action-filled, thrilling, or perhaps peaceful conclusion. That’s why it’s important to find out what motivates an author to pick up that pen and start writing.

What is in only 142 pages in the text plus 70 pages of helpful MLA annotated bibliography, plus many more academic resources at Sanford/Kuhn Library at, we think, with some further explanations, if needed, such as what mindfulness means, how to refer writers to expletives, and deleting participles placed before verbs in sentences, will create better editors for the Authors' 2nd edition. For chapters to easily refer to and gather its key data points, even a change in format may help although chapter eight provides some buy-in for writers reluctant to purchase the book in any format but on the authors' website. Dubbed as "not just an academic work, it's a "guide for modifying behaviors in writing and in living a richer more mindful life", this book is obviously mainly for juniors and upperclass students barrelling toward the finish line and their worries in what their writing will become but, in actuality, movement toward more awesome writer can begin as soon as at the start of their composition coursework. Therefore, too, the book lays an excellent foundation on time management and the returns on investment for scholars' learnings no matter their academic standing that needs a little more emphasis. Proceeding with its refreshing ease of use—both informants, both never admiring the last word, and its down-to-earth language instead of the language used in cost accounting class—for students and self-schedulers, our informative summary has two enthusiastic thumbs-up on the 1st edition of Jade’s writing journey: Beyond the blank page by authors Luscombe and Costanza for the 2nd.

In this review, we critique Jade's writing journey: Beyond the blank page to offer scholars an insight into the book's benefits for teachers of writing, writing consultants, reflection and personal philosophy of education, as well as writing in the disciplines. Authors, Jayne-Marie Luscombe, a design-thinking specialist in writing in the disciplines and Experiential Learning at Juniata College, Pennsylvania, and Denise Marotz Costanzo, an expert in academic coaching; gifted education; rubric design and revision; and interdisciplinary education, fully met the book's goals to prepare the reluctant and the "stop-and-go" writers for writing. They both are more than qualified to have penned this unique writing book and both apply its methods to become more awesome writers and, also, learners through their focus on the growth of habits and vulnerability elicited from their approach to begin writing tasks.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💅💅💅💅💅☝️☝️☝️☝️☝️😄😄😄😄😄😨😨😨😨😨💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥☘️😜😜😜😜🔥🌷🌷🌷🌷🌷
