But when you explained why, I was quite sad to read the issues that you had with the book. I lovechildren's literature, especially if there is a magical twist to it, but I don't think I'll be reading this book. It's such a shame there are such obvious drawbacks with the story. I also love children's literature and was hoping that this would be a great book because the cover captivated me. While reading, I found myself sorely disappointed.
