Too bad this one doesn't get top marks, but I can see why.
Love that Sophina has an owl friend though!

I also love children's literature and was hoping that this would be a great book because the cover captivated me. While reading, I found myself sorely disappointed.Murmuring Letters wrote:So sorry to hear this book was so disappointing! I really liked the description of the book and was confused to see you only gave it two stars. But when you explained why, I was quite sad to read the issues that you had with the book. I lovechildren's literature, especially if there is a magical twist to it, but I don't think I'll be reading this book. It's such a shame there are such obvious drawbacks with the story. Thank you for writing an honest review.
Thanks for reading! ?

Yes, even though I was disappointed, someone else may enjoy the story! I would definitely encourage someone to read the book for themselves.Zupanatural wrote:I've got to say, the cover art is pretty nifty & the plot sounds really great. Shame you didn't enjoy it so much but I'd be willing to give it a go nonetheless. Thanks anyway for the review
