Thanks for the review! If it is similar to Harry Potter then who would not like it. Magic and mystery is so much fun to read. You get fixated in the book, curious to know what happens in the following pages. I will give it a try!

From the review it is clear that the book is an intriguing read but the fact that the author has borrowed heavily on Harry Potter, a masterpiece in its own right, makes it already predictable and only good to keep oneself busy.

I liked the book's storyline though I wonder if people with magical powers still exist in the today's society.

Why should the head mistress protect a child even before she attends school? This is question I would like to answer by reading this book. The female version of Harry Potter makes it predictable though.

Being a female Harry Potter might not be the worst thing!

I used to read a lot of YA fantasy with my son, but he is grown now, so I am out of the loop. Sounds like one to try!

I love this type of fantasy book and I think there would be a lot of interest in it from younger readers. The book cover is fantastic. Gonna put this one on my reading list. Thanks for the great review!

I just read the review of the second book and I must say this book promises to be an interesting series. It may have started like harry potter but the second book takes it to a new high. Great review.

I find it illogical that a person can actually be admitted to a magic school. Lara wants to learn about magic. Her passion could be seen in her determination to excel in her lessons.

If you write the similar stories people's will get nothing fun on it. Most of there fluke of thoughts will come true. So you should change a little, like the Character will not go to magic school Character Waited 12 Years To Learn Marshal Arts Because She Saw A Murder Of Her Parents and She Decided To Take Revenge. Not to murder them but torcher them.
