Latest Review: Becoming the Dragon by Alex Sapegin

I thought it sounded exactly like Harry Potter’s plot line when I read the summary and I was wondering if you’d bring it up! It’s good to hear that it seems to take a turn though and honestly I’m sure I wouldn’t mind reading a similar plot line to Harry Potter.

This parallel world of wizardry has always attracted me. I was an ardent Harry Potter fan and dug into the entire series during my school days. The review surely gives away the part that Dragon Born shares a similar storyline, but does that matter? Thanks for the review.

Who does not love magic nor enjoy the thought of creating things from that which are unseen? Although the reviewer stated that this book has similarities with the story of Harry Potter, a female version of it, I am still inclined to read this book because I think it will help me de-stress from all the worries and dilemma of working in the legal field. We all have a child in us and I think this book will bring out that child in me.

It sure sounds like harry potter but kudos for a good review. I will like to see how Lara learns to use her magical powers.

I think it would be interesting to
read a female version of Harry
Potter. I would like to read how
Lara uses magic to deal with
bullies. Great review.

The book will definitely be very thrilling, having to see how Lara learns how to use her magic for good and how she definitely uses it to solve problems. Just like little Harry Potter started also,a female Harry Potter, cute, fun, intriguing, I will definitely love to read this.

I haven't read any Harry Potter books, but I'm not living under a rock. However, I could probably read this without having a comparison of HP. I think I would like to read this. I do like a fantasy book once in awhile.

Harry Potter is such a classic at this point, I'm not surprised other books try to emulate it. Seems as though Dragon Born may have done it right enough to have you interested in the next book though! I'd love to see how this series progresses. I may check it out!
