I am very excited to read this book after reading your enthusiastic review. Your review is very insightful and informative and makes me want to drop everything and read this book right now. I love that this book is one of a series, so the adventures don't end when the first book ends.

Congratulations to the author on writing what seems like a wonderful story that can also be a learning experience for young people.

Good review. Sounds like a good book with lots of interesting characters and subplots. Quite a lot for a children's book but it still sounds like a great read! Thanks!

I love today's choice for BOTD! What a unique text! Anything kids (or anyone for that matter!) read or are exposed to outside of the "norm" is a bonus in my mind. With today being all about social media, and the drama that goes with it, it's good to throw in a bit of culture and creativity every now and then!

This sounds fascinating. The different culture, the easy manner of storytelling, and the timeless story lines must make this an excellent choice for children. I loved the sample, and your review confirms the worth of the book!

Thank you for the review. My granddaughter is in 2nd grade and I think this would be perfect for her. From the way you have described, I think she would enjoy the plot and not have any trouble getting through the book. It is great to see a BOTD that would be a great read for my granddaughter!
