Upon reading this beautiful book, with a combination of images and short texts comes around as a a heart warming and loving, highly inspirational story. With easy to read and understand language, lots of pictures of bear and the family. It makes me wish I had a child that i could take on my lap and read it to. It would be a perfect book for that.

Thanks for this review. This sounds like a great book for my son. He is very passionate about dogs and this would be an easy way to keep him reading this summer!

This sounds like a sweet story about a cherished family pet. The message of the importance of rescuing animals is certainly a plus. Heartwarming tales that also teach lessons are always good for children to read. Thanks for the review!

Thank you for a good review. Too bad about the grammatical errors. I do think the book can definitely teach children the value of adopting animals. I have two rescues and they are the most loving dogs. It seems like a book children would love since most children love animals.
