The idea behind the story sounds sweet. I also grew up with a rescue dog and it shaped my life in many ways. Since children learn so much from the books they read, I hesitate to read or give them anything with mistakes.

Thanks for the nice review. The kids have an added reason to smile about as this book sounds nice and the diagrams also make is captivating for them. How unfortunate for Bear to have been fond of routine hence the disturbance when the environment changed a bit.

I really like this review. This seems like a book that might be good to have in my classroom library for my younger students or lower-level readers. I look forward to getting my hands on it!

A well-written candid review. I had a pet dog in childhood so I can definitely relate to this book. Thanks for piquing our interest. I will be checking this out!

Thanks for your review. With the errors I wonder about recommending it to learning readers as it may confuse them.

This sounds like a really cute book! I love books about animals, and I'm sure children would love this one, too. It's a shame about the grammatical errors, though; I'm not sure children young enough to still be learning grammar should read this one.

Thank you for the review. It's nice to read stories of people adopting animals from shelters. The love our pets give us just reflect how much we love them.

Sounds like a book my daughter would love. Going to have to let her read a sample and see how it goes.

A non-fiction children’s book about the author’s beloved rescue dog seems so cool! It's amazing how much love the author seems to have for the dog. Very nice for children.

This sounds like a nice book for children who like dogs and want to have one in their house. The book will teach them what to expect from a dog when it wants to play and how to take care of it, for example, taking it the groomer. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

Thanks for being the BOTD. It has reminded me of my old pet dog at home. I would recommend it to child readers.
