We should always find strength in our uniqueness and understand that our happiness is not dependent on the people around us or the environment we find ourselves in.

Odonata was a dragonfly living in the Maiden Grass Pond, with an obvious difference between him and the other dragonflies. His wings were not bright and colourful like the other dragonflies in the pond, and because of this, he was ignored by the other dragonflies except for Drago, who was way bigger than the others and loved to make fun of Odonata. One day there was heavy rain, and there might be a turn in the lives of the dragonflies. Get a copy of this book, titled Odonata: The Flying Jewel of Maiden Grass Pond, written by Barbara Gervais Ciancimino, to enjoy the wonderful story.

I liked this book because the author knew the target audience would not require a cumbersome book and made it as brief as possible in order not to get the readers bored. The illustrator, Steve McGinnis, was also a great artist, as each page of the book was depicted beautifully and flawlessly. I like that this book contains important moral lessons that kids can learn after reading Odonata.

The book will also play an important role in educating the readers about the species and families of dragonflies, and this aspect will be beneficial not only to children but also to adults. Finally, the book was hilarious, especially when Croaker the bullfrog was described.

I had no reason to dislike this book, and I believe it would be a very inspiring book for children. For this reason, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I also did not encounter any errors while reading this book, which shows that it was perfectly edited. I recommend this book to children who are between the ages of 6 and 10.
