Based on the review I think I would enjoy reading this book. It sounds like and interesting book where you can delve into an adventure of whether Bigfoot is real or not. Even though it’s a children’s book, I love fiction and I think I will give this book a chance.

I know a little more about Bigfoot lore and the hunt for such cryptids than I'd like to admit, so I feel that I would get a more from that part of the book than the average reader. More importantly, though, I like a good supernatural story which comes with good character development. Here's hoping that this book is as good on the plot and character front as on the development of the lore. Thank you for the thorough review.

I was fascinated by the story about Bigfoot since my teenage days. I remember that was also the time I read about the Lochness monster or the non-existence of it. These are mystery stories that stirred my imagination. Coupled with these were stories of Dracula and the Frankenstein Monster. Well, no Ebooks yet during those times, I was just about pushing 20 or something. (. . err, not 20, rather, 19 I should say, teenage days those were) I will check out this book. Thanks for the interesting review.

I sampled the book on Amazon. A sweet fictional story with enchanting description by Rebecca Coyte. J.T. is a young boy and unpopular at school. He lives in a weird named peaceful town Onion Weed. But there are also other species in the town called Bigfoot. The hunters and other government officials are intruding the town in search of this creature. The writing style is simple and flawless. It will attract a lot of young readers and also adults with young heart (e.g. me) as mentioned by Gali in the official review. Cheers :) :)

This book sounds like a good story. I like that it is about a rather shy boy no doubt growing up in his quest for answers. I also like that he feels he wants to protect Big Foot ... could bring across a valuable lesson. Thanks for the review.

This is definitely a book every child would love. So much has been written about Bigfoot and so much there is still to write to enthrall kids. This sounds like a good reading, except for the bad message of getting away with a crime.

I enjoy children's books with morals, and the fact that the book contains that of respecting other species is really great. I wonder what came in Meek's father's mind when he left his wife and kids to fend for themselves. All in all, intriguing review!

Considering children's thirst for adventure, I am also sure they will enjoy following J.T. in his search for the mysterious Bigfoot, seemingly residing in the woods of Onion Weed. My favourite parts in the sample were the humorous ones like the description of the Bigfoot hysteria and wild hunt or the quick sketch of Billy Matrix, the so-called Bigfoot expert. Thanks for a very interesting and detailed review!

This sounds like a great coming-of-age novel that can be enjoyed by both the young and the old. I have never had much interest in Bigfoot, nor in any of the myths surrounding him though. So, I will have to pass. Thank you for the superb review! :D

In all, this sounds like a great read for the middle grade/young adult set. I know I would have loved this at that age. I was obsessed with Bigfoot! Thanks for your insight!
