Autumn, pumpkins, cooking from scratch, and fulfilling your destiny- so much to love about this book! I agree that illustrations would seem to be a better complement to the story than actual pictures. Great review!

It sounds like a lovely book to teach children about utilizing food to their full potential. Thank you for the review, it was very enjoyable to read.

It must be personal preference, because I love the idea of real photographs. I love good illustrations too, but variety is the spice of life! Right?

But Autumn is definitely a favorite time of year for our family. I might just have to check this out for the littlest ones in my life. Nice review.

The author sure outdid itself with explaining the thoughts of a pumpkin as it wanted more out of life. Every child should read this book in order to encourage them to move above and beyond their comfort zones no matter how relaxing it is.

What an interesting way to teach children a real-life skill. This seems to be a good read.
