Great job! I think my kids would probably enjoy this story but I agree that the book should be illustrated to appeal to this age range more. Congratulations to the author on receiving a great review!

When I glanced at the cover, I had the same question - what about pictures? So thanks for covering this up! I too prefer illustrations instead of photos in children's books, it's just cuter. Thanks for the review!

I enjoyed the review. I love the idea of children learning about whole food and not to waste it. The whole process from pumpkin in the field to plated food is very interesting. Last halloween my children and I had a blast witb our pumpkin. We decorated it for halloween and cooked into a nicd cake afterwards. It is a book I would read to my children.
