Thanks for the great review. You are right, most children's books rarely feature animals such as narwhals and hummingbirds, which makes me wonder, but realize that most books feature animals that children are familiar with, such as dogs, cats, and elephants sometimes. I think that the value of using the two animals (the narwhal and hummingbird) makes the children curious as to what these animals are, which may translate to them understanding the lesson taught in the book better.

What an illustrative review and amazing story! Having a hummingbird and a narwhal featured in a story is most likely infrequent. Yet, the author made an impeccable connection of friendship and kindness between two different species. It is absolutely recommended to include this among children's learning materials.

Thank you very much for your great review on the humming bird and narwhal.you really did a great job

The humming bird and the narwhal is an inspiration to all the kids out there.
It fosters friendship, kindness and love for one another not minding the differences in one another.
Annie, really passed on the message using animal characters which are relatable to children
This can be a good bed time story or a leisure book

I enjoyed your review of The Hummingbird & The Narwhal. I love Hummingbirds, and I always have a feeder up for them to feed on sugar water. It is interesting to watch how an alpha bird always chases away the others. I had never heard of a Narwhal and I had to look it up, and I did not realize the similarities that they have. It is also an educational book, as it taught me about whales that I did not know.

Lovely review! Without even diving into the plot (which low-key has some Finding Nemo vibes), you can tell this is going to be interesting. The hook of narwhals and hummingbirds having a similar look (something I’ve NEVER noticed until now!) is so strong. I also love the art style of the illustrations; there’s something super calming about them. This seems like a book where you get yourself ready for the adventure by way of settling in and getting cozy rather than continually bracing yourself on the edge of your seat. Congrats on BOTD!!!

"The Hummingbird & The Narwhal" by Annie Higbee. An interesting story book, talks about hummingbird and a narwhal, suddenly coming together of these animals. They became friends, even realizing who they are and helped each other. This children's book is engaging and a must read. Congrats on your #BOTD.

This book sounds absolutely lovely and not just because I adore both of the lead characters!! Well done on what appears to be an engaging read for any child, even those that are children at heart, like me. I love that the book has delightful illustrations too. I look forward to having a read and congratulation to the author on #BOTD.

I would never have thought a hummingbird and a narwhal would have anything in common, but both really are unicorns! I love that this book celebrated friendship and kindness and that each helped the other whether it was finding purpose or finding family.

Congrats on BOTD!
In the book, a narwhal and a hummingbird form friendship and mutual aid. They are similar as well as different. They enjoy themselves and share knowledge. Though they return to their homes, they never forget their friendship. We learn about friendship, variety, and nature from this book.

The Hummingbird & the Narwhal by Annie Higbee showcases the importance of friendship and its true meaning. The best thing about this book is the illustrations, which are very unique, hand-painted, and pencil drawings, which are pretty interesting. The review is very informative and interesting.

The review for "The Hummingbird & the Narwhal" by Annie Higbee praises it as one of the best children's stories, commending the engaging concept and the unique selection of animals. The author's message about kindness and friendship is well-conveyed, and the use of narwhals and hummingbirds is appreciated for its rarity in children's literature. The writing style, illustrations, and editing quality are all commended, and the reviewer gives it a perfect 5-star rating. The book is recommended for those who enjoy fables, illustrated stories, and stories with important lessons, including both children and adults.
