It's admirable that the author has shared his experience with bullying and is educating the readers on this menace through a wonderful engaging story.

It is admirable indeed. I sense there is a little of the author in both Al and Al’s dad in the story. It is an engaging and empowering read.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by. Enjoy the rest of your reigning month! :handgestures-thumbup:

I was surprised by the many components of this story. And the illustrations were truly stunning.

It really is. Every bullying situation is different, but I believe there are motivations, reactions, and missed opportunities that may be common to most. This book paints a comprehensive picture of Al’s issue.

I hope your kids never have to go through what Al experienced. There are characters in the story that model what a friend or grown-up can do to help in these situations as well.

I’m sure you will enjoy this book. Thank you for your visit!

I am also deeply pained when someone is bullied, and I’m at a loss for words at some of the tragic responses. This is a great book to encourage conversations around this issue.
