Review by Nqobile771 -- What's Your Favorite Color?
What’s Your Favorite Color? by Amber L. Lassiter is a children’s book aimed at enhancing young children’s reading and comprehension skills. The PDF version of the book comprises 32 colorful pages.
Amber and her classmates wore their favorite colors to school. Their class teacher had instructed them to wear an item of clothing that represented their favorite color, as they would be painting pictures using their favorite colors on that day. As they entered the classroom, they were greeted by colorful sheer curtains that were swayed by the breeze coming in from the open windows. When the time to paint came, Amber realized that she had forgotten her watercolors at home. She borrowed watercolors from some of her classmates, and they were convinced that they had figured out her favorite color. She did not deny or confirm if they were correct and continued with her painting. Did any of Amber’s classmates guess her favorite color correctly?
The book contains a question and hint section. In the question section, the author asks questions related to a topic covered in that section. The hint section offers children clues and guidance on how to answer the question. These sections appealed to me as they make the book interactive and also test the reader’s comprehension skills.
The language used was clear, concise, and appropriate for children. The book was also exceptionally edited, as I did not come across any typographical or grammatical errors. I liked the colors used in all the pages as they were aesthetically pleasing. The illustrations were vibrant, bright, and colorful.
There was nothing I disliked about the book, and I am delighted to award it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. The book is suitable for students from grades 1 to 3, as it contains stimulating activities that require the reader to read, think, and write.

You are spot-on about the book being both educational and funny! Thanks for reading the review and engaging!Leyla Ann wrote: ↑18 Dec 2020, 14:21 This book sounds very good for children. It seems to combine "funny" and "educational" in a smart, playful way that will definitely succeed at catching the kids' attention until the very end. Based on the cover, I'm assuming that the artwork is also pretty good, which earns the book extra points.
