Dynomike: What's Heartfulness? written by Frankie B. Rabbit is from the Dinomike Teaches Series. When Dinomike and his friends go to Jack Brussels's house, they soon discover their friend is sad. He cannot come out and play today. What will Dinomike do now? His friend needs help, but it's such a nice day to play!

On a lovely day Dinomike, Winky and a Spunky head over to Jack Brussels's house. They all ride their bikes and want Jack to come ride with them. Jack's mom is very ill so Jack can't go play. Dinomike has a big decision to make. Does he help his friend or does he go play? Dinomike makes the right choice. Dinomike , Winky and Spunky work hard to make gifts for Jack's mom. The most important gift of all makes Jack's mom feel much better.

This book teaches a very important lesson on empathy and selflessness. These are essential lessons that parents will now find help teaching. The characters are well developed and this would make a great children's show. I liked that the story was straightforward. The characters made good choices and explained why they made them.

I rate this delightful book 4 out of 4 stars. These books could help any parent or teacher reinforce good values. The illustrations were colorful and would grab a child's attention for sure. Well edited and written out like poetry, it's a pleasure to read. I would read any title from the series knowing the lesson inside would enrich any children's education and development.

I recommend this book to parents and teachers. Although a lesson about kindness and selflessness is one we could all take the time to read. These are not the only lessons found in this book. Bravery, being a good friend and taking time to care for others are prominent.
