I like this book not only because it's about Christmas which happens to be my favorite holiday but because it teaches the reader how to appreciate what we normally would take for granted. I agree with everyone that this book is not only for children but for everyone.

The book sounds adorable for kids. Your review definitely made me one to read the book myself! :techie-studyinggray: And I like how the book had a story to tell of friendship, compassion. A child trying to help his snowman friend. ^_^ Cute!

This book has lovely illustrations, and rhyming verse containing important messages for children. Through the images of the snowman, children can get a sense of how it feels being literally left out in the cold. The themes in the verse help them to understand the importance of being kind, caring, honest and respectful of others. It is short and easy to read so it is ideal for pre-school and young readers.

I immediately thought of Frosty the Snowman upon my first encounter with Snowman Paul. It is interesting that none of the children are named. I particularly like that the book has a clear problem and resolution that can subtly teach children valuable lessons.

Your review helps one decide whether or not the children's book would be a good buy. It also gives ideas on how to use the book with children. This is very helpful.

my favorite Christmas
special was Frosty the
Snowman, so I was
very excited
to read Christmas
With
Snowman Paul. Written by Yossi Lapid, this is a short story about
snowman Paul who is very sad that
he cannot spend Christmas indoors
with the family

Thanks for a nice review! I love the themes of friendship and inclusion and the idea of a lonely snowman who would like to join the family during Christmas celebrations. With simple rhymes and beautiful watercolor illustration, Yossi Lapid's book is a great choice for preschool and kindergarten children.

This seems like a really cute read. Christmas is also my favorite time of year. I'm glad that the illustrations are so well done. It's also good that there's a clear plot and theme to this book. I agree that this would make an excellent read for young children. I, myself, would like to read it someday too. Thank you for your well-written review!
