This book sounds very interesting. I am a fan of the fantasy genre, so I might pick this book up. From this review, I feel like this book is filled with devastation and hope. Also, from the review, I can tell that Piper goes through things that many people go through today, such as heartbreak and fear. Although this book sounds interesting, I might get confused with the characters if they are lacking in description.

Sounds like an interesting coming of age story with magic woven into it, but I'm not sure if it's for me.

The free sample that I have read is pretty interesting I will definitely go for the book because it's capitaivating. The author introduces us to the chapters in the book by incorporating the biological way of humans coming to life. This is in relation to his story of the progression of his main character the girl. I give the book a thumbs up.

I'm definitely adding this book to my "shelves". I have been very interested in magical novels lately.
The plot of the story started to catch me as soon as I read the name Piper. I love that name. And as I went reading on and on, I fell in love with the character's personality description you've made. She sounds as a girl with the most beautiful soul ever and after so many unfortunate things happened in her life, it's very easy to empathize with her. Such a character to relate oneself to!

About the poor introduction to new characters. I think it leaves room for imagination, but I agree with you partially because for me it's easier when you have to imagine places instead of people. We'll see.
Thank you very much for the review. I want to read it now.

This seems very interesting to read. Losing someone special and taking care of a younger sibling at a young age is very difficult to overcome. I might want to read this soon.

Great review!

I read the sample and purchased the book. Piper is so relatable and lovable. I immediately became hooked. The imagery is strong. This is a must read for all adolescent girls who feel they are in the fringes of life, not fitting in, and feeling unworthy. A great book for anyone facing life transitions.

Prophase is a very interesting and fascinating book that's wholly based on fantasy. I can't delay even a minute reading it
