I absolutely loved this book, it was actually the book that made me start looking more into this genre, which is also my favourite genre now. I love a book that keeps you guessing and this just fits the bill, with its mystery and its constant layering of the story it was just a perfect read for me.

I really like this book. I loved the suspense and the twists and turns made the book great. I was disappointed with the ending slightly.

I think Gone Girl is one of the best books I've ever read. It's not my favorite, but it is incredibly good. When you start reading, you don't know the storm that will come for you. Amy's character is so twisted and intelligent. She looks so composed and good-hearted when in reality she's anything but that.
I've read other books by the author and I didn't find them as brilliantly written as Gone Girl. This is one of a kind.

I really loved this book. It was suspenseful with so many twists and turns, and it had a very deep and detailed characters. I really couldn't complain about anything in this book. I loved all of it.

I love this book and want to read it again and again just because. However, every time i finish reading it, I always want the ending to change. Brilliant piece of art, though. Can't deny that.

This is a book that I had heard so many things about that was conflicted to pick it up. Some people say it's incredibly underwhelming and then a few of my friends said it's disturbing and unputdownable. I have to fall somewhere in the middle. I think it has an ebb and flow to it, sometimes it was unputdownable but occasionally there were parts that were a little disappointing and meh, particularly the ending.

Gone Girl is a cult favorite and one of mine too. I'm on my third read since publication and each time I read it it feels like it's the first time, which sounds cheesy, but it's really not. I just love it a lot. The character development is by far one of the best examples of character development in literature.

I thought this book was very interesting. It's unusual to be so engaged by a book when you don't like or empathise with the characters. I thought Gillian Flynn did a very clever job of this. I suppose, in a way, you do have to suspend disbelief for the ending, but I wouldn't call it weak. It's some time since I read this book, but I remember the feeling it left hanging over me for days afterwards. The anticlimatic ending was a big part of that.

*spoilers* I loved the book from beginning to end. I can completely agree with you, and say that i was invested in this book right from the beginning. I will admit I saw the movie before I read the book, the movies really did an excellent job of capturing what Gillian Flynn intended for us to imagine while reading.
In this book Amy was my favorite character, so reaching the second part of this book was really a plus. Amy was so manipulative and played the role of just a normal house wife so well that no one suspected anything near to what actually happened. The book never stopped getting better, the ending had me wanting to read the book again soon as I finished.
I have recommended this book to several of my friends and family, they have all enjoyed it too. I personally give the book and four out of four star rating. :D

Gone Girl made me think outside the box. It truly shows that you can't judge a book by its cover. Plus, people can be really good at covering up their less desirable characteristics.

If it's just as good as the movie, I want to read it. I love the twist in the story.
