I loved the first book and movie. The second was just alright, and I hated the third. The story seemed to become too far fetched for me.

I loved them! They were a quick read but one I couldn't put down! However my heart broke in the end.

It was an amazing series - I loved it. Just that I didn't really enjoy Insurgent. Other than that, the other three were pretty action-packed and I couldn't stop reading!

Maybe it's just about having more of a balanced mix between the five faction traits. Like maybe Four leaned too heavily towards Dauntless and Abnegation, but not enough towards Amity or Candor. I'm not really sure where the lines are drawn.

I haven't read Four yet, but I've been meaning to for some time. I enjoyed reading the books, the first more than any of the rest but I find that happens in a lot of series. It was simplistic, sure, but I like stories where they divide people into groups. I don't know why. I guess it's symbolic of how we tend to do that as a society.

I enjoyed reading the entire series. The first book is my favorite, however, I think the author does well with the story and characters throughout the other books in the series. This book is in my favorite genre so that made it much more enjoyable. I have yet to read the novella about Tobias Eaton. I think I will reread the series and then read the novella. However, I tend not to enjoy novellas as much as the real series.

I got them all on Audible one summer to listen to because I was spending a lot of time on the local transportation bus. I enjoyed the fact that Tris didn't adhere to what was expected of her, that she was daring. Her relationship with Four was great, and it was good to get his perspective too.

They are okay, worth a read. But very simplistic and can finish reading them over a weekend. Divergent is my favorite in the series.

I was excited of the story plot at first but after the first book, I got bored. But pushed through up to Allegiant.

I did really enjoy the series, but at some points, I found it bland and repetitive. Overall, I greatly enjoyed the romance and the plot and found the storyline to be captivating in general; it was only in certain moments that I noticed the errors mentioned above. Also, I found the movies extremely aggravating as they changed so much detail from the novels.

I'm not that big of a fan of the series unfortunately. I think the books were just alright. Haven't seen the movies and I'm not really interested.

Not necessarily my favourite series but I do admit to joining in the craze surrounding it and I do enjoy rereading and rewatching the movies from time to time. It was a relatively novel idea and the movies did not disappoint when comparing them to the book, even though they did switch up most of the plot near to the end.

Four, although its was good he moved on but still was very disappointing. I mean he did not deserve the end he got.

It's good series. I loved the characters, world-building and how Roth didn't do a lot of fanservice near to the end. It's definitely a series I would reread.
