It's just that, even from the title and the concept, you could see where the similarity is. Even with Harry Potter. Maybe it's just the popular act with teens now. I'll be checking this out. Thanks for this review! :tiphat:
If you view it as pure entertainment, it is good. I try not to compare but I'm an adult. Younger readers might not mind the similarities. I do like the setting (Tibet), so that's a plus.

Definitely! I'm sure you'll enjoy it, if you like adolescent books.

It was definitely better than I expected. The setting is unique and it isn't quite the typical mystical school, tragic parents type.

Thanks for the enthralling review. I wonder why the assassin chose to save Ether even after killing his parents. I like the fact that there a couple of twists and turns. They always keep me turning page after page as I anticipate for the unexpected.

"With power comes great responsibility." That's how the proverbial adage goes. It rings true with this one, too. I do hope we'd all use our unique abilities, position, and other capacities for what's good and right. Thank you for your honest review.

I'm interested in the premise of this book! Did you find the magic aspect of this book to be well explained?? A magic system that is not thought out is one of the quickest ways for me to lose interest in a book! Thanks for your review :)

This book definitely sounds like something I’d enjoy! I loved Percy Jackson and Harry Potter when I was younger and I’m always on the lookout for books/series similar to those because of how much I enjoy them.

I believe that magical schools make for an incredibly cliched plot line. However, the fact that this is set in Tibet changes everything! Does this still have the archetypal little details of the Magical School, with its wizards and feasts and different competing houses/segments?

This sounds enjoyable even with the apparent predictability and unoriginal premise. You have sold it to me! Great review.

I love books with action as well as things which are far from reality. Nice review. Thank you đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

It sounds like an entertaining book for teenagers. Hopefully, the author will fix his errors and put more diversity in his book. Thanks for a great review!
