I like the Sunset Island series by Cherie Bennett. They are harder to find now bc they were written in the 90s.
I also like Catherine Clark a lot. Truth or Dairy is a good one!

I'd forgotten how much I loved 'The Hunger Games' until I reread it this year! I adore the first book the most but the second is also amazing

Percy Jackson! and anything else written by Rick Riordan. I also like Throne of Glass, but a few of the books in the series annoyed me.

I absolutely ADORE Speak!! Not enough people talk about the novel or the very well done movie adaptation starring a young Kristen Stewart. I also love the Beautiful Creatures series by Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohe and Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves. I love a darkly humorous YA novel chalked full of strangeness!

I was an only child until I was 9 years old, and afterwards I never really had a good relationship with my little brother, so I found comfort in books. My all time favorite books always will be The Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, but I have found, along the years, that every book can provide their own little joys. The hunger games by Suzanne Collins, The perks of being a wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, The chronicles of Narnia series by C. S. Lewis and other titles that I think they might not fit in this category that well.
