This is a must read for all the teens who are finding it so hard to fit in the society. It would help them understand that we all got weaknesses in the inside even though we might look strong on the outside.... even though some might think of it as just fiction add and read it just for fun, many will be inspired by how Karina handles her challenges.

Its unfortunate that Karina and Mary Blair are discriminated in school because of their conditions. Discrimination is something immoral and acceptable. This book serve as a wake up call against discrimination.

going through a door into a winter wonderland? sounds like a parady of the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe. although, i am interesting in the talking fish. I am unsure if i will read this one, thanks for the awesome review.

Thank you for the great review. This sounds like it will be a very good read, and I will definitely be adding it to my reading list. I love that her physical scar disappears after her "soul" begins to heal. Also, all of the magical elements of the story really appeal to me.

Your review of Karina was intriguing. I found it interesting that her scar disappeared after she remembered how she got it and subsequently dealt with the emotional aspects it triggered. You have convinced me that this is a worthwhile read. Thank you. 💕

This book sounds very intriguing. I wonder if the author got the name Algernon from Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, which is a fantastic novel. If you haven't read it, I highly recommend it.

I'm sorry for your loss and can relate. The scene with Karina’s grandmother does sound touching. A coming of age YA story revolving around a bullied girl, reincarnation, and a talking fish sounds intriguing. The girls' powers seem awesome! I like the bland of fiction and supernatural That it was well edited is another plus. Not for me, but I am glad you enjoyed it. Thank you for the review!

I'm always looking for a feel good story that includes magic. Karina sounds like an interesting character; it's too bad about her scar and the taunting she's gotten from that. Thanks for the review.

This is a book that I would have jitters before reading but the review has washed all that away. I think there is enough twists to the story to make the quite captivating.
