I haven't read Christopher Pike's young adult fiction. I might as well check it out. Thanks for your words and for the suggestion.

I think you can add it with no problems. It reminded me of a classic book for teenagers.

Awesome review! I agree, teenagers' craving for action and mysterious adventures are not usually satisfied by YA books, and hence they resort to television shows and such forms of entertainment. This book hits the mark I hope :D

What a great review! You have been really thorough and thoughtful in your writing. And this book sounds just marvelous. I love Stranger Things and I just may pick this book up. The good character development is a definite draw for me. Sometimes a nice young adult fiction book is just the thing on a rainy afternoon. Thanks for the great review.

The story sounds realistic. There are towns in life where creepy things like that happen, especially robbery and murdering of innocent women. Thanks for your great review. I can't wait to find out the adventure the story delivers.

The Whistlebrass Clock People is book 3 of Jack Keely and Briar Lee Mitchell’s Whistlebrass Mysteries. I would've chosen to read the first and second installments from this series in order to understand more, even if this book could be a standalone read. Kudos to your awesome review.

This sounds like a book that has enough supernatural elements to keep me interested but not enough to scare me, which I greatly appreciate!
This is a very well-written and informative review, thank you!

I am always looking for good adventure stories for my teenage students to read, and this sounds like it would be suspenseful without being too scary or graphic. I also like the idea of a clock taking on a threatening tone in this story, because normally clocks would be regarded as regular inanimate objects in many other stories. Thanks for the review!
