This book reminds me of a movie where people have their life span recorded in the palm of their hands. Sounds like a very interesting read. Intriguing review.

''What is the value of life?'', This question kept me pondering over for a long time. As the reviewer summarised that the character of the book is quite surprised seeing today's world scenario that people no longer value life and killing is regarded as a status symbol. The storyline really spoke to me and I am looking forward to read it.

This book is a delineation of the future when a man with the norms and mores of a culture five centuries back would face the world as it has turned out as the apparent present. The author, surely, must have that fantastic imagination to picture this out. Thank you for the interesting review.

This books sounds interesting. I like dystopian science fiction books. The subject matter intrigues me. I like that there’s action and mystery in the book and also love the fact that the characters are well developed. This seems like a great read. Thanks for your review.

Thanks for your review. It's obvious that you enjoyed it, and I'm glad you did. It didn't really grab me, however, so I think I'll pass on this one.

:techie-studyingbrown: Am going to give this a trial The title and the name has trapped my mind and with all this review the book is worth reading for Jim to be entrapped in the ice and resurrected five thousand years later. Am going to tell my friend about this book :techie-studyinggray:

The idea of being resurrected after being frozen for a long time is a fascinating premise. It's a shame the book didn't go deeply enough into the issue of religion and the significance of the Reliks in that regard, but nonetheless, it sounds as if this dystopia has enough dimensions to fascinate YA readers.

I love this review as it gave me a good overview of the main first "selling point" of the book, a unique way the story is built. The idea of a protagonist interaction being through a sort of the "key hole" instead of giving him a usual grand tour and explaining the world through the eyes of a some friendly local is refreshing. The setup of the Library sounds like a novel concept. This review really made me want to read the book.

Thank you for your insightful review. This piece seems different from futuristic ones I've come across with before especially it's focus on religion.

The story sound interesting. To be frozen for 5000 thousand years and get ressurected in the whole new world. I don`t usually read YA books, but I am quite interested to see how author paints this future world.

I love dystopian novels, and I am a fan of YA, so this would be perfect. Being frozen and later brought back to life has always intrigued me. Thanks for the review.

The cover had me thinking therell be an overload of violence and darkness in the book. It seems like this seems to take the empowerment of young adults to a whole new level, and theyre not sure they want it. Great review! Thanks for thoroughness and the great analysis.

The religious aspect has me questioning the readability factor. I, like you would have like to have more details regarding the new religious system. I may just give it a chance. Thank you for your thorough review.
This amazing review also had me giving it a chance

I read the review of the book THE RELIK by Nathan J.Keller.

Relik is the name given to Jim after he found caught in ice 5000 years ago. This is a strange story how can we trust a display of 5000 years ago in the form of a display and can call it by a Relik. Also the worship of a Relik is not necessary according to my point of view. The reliks can be seen and observed but their worship is not an ethical point of view.

I learned the meaning of relik from this book. I love the story.
