Interesting review! I read the short story and was a bit confused because of a cliffhanger in chapter one. Continuing chapter two seems like a different story while reading it and could not get the true picture of what I am reading but using my common sense, I said maybe Veronica is now dead. But how did she die? I thought about it and said maybe she was also in an accident as Seth, but not to confuse my thinking I determine it to be just a dream, but having read your review I was relieved to know that she was a reincarnation of another person. Anyway it is a must read for me your review has invited me to read the entire book. Thank you

It must be so terrible to realize the life you've lived isn't real! Can't imagine how Veronica felt when she realized that she's actually a reincarnated soul named Harmony, who's been to Earth many times. It's great to know that the worldbuilding is great and that you were able to visualize how Earth school worked. I also love when characters grow throughout a novel, so I'm glad to hear that Harmony does. It's pretty cool that the author explores different time periods and that the history is accurate. Too bad about the cliffhanger, but I'm glad that you were able to enjoy this one immensely regardless. Thank you for the enthusiastic review!

Excellent review! The review has made it clear that the young adult fantasy novel referred above is extremely engaging and well-written. The book contains a unique plot narrated with the fitting words. The characters are 3-dimensional. This book could be a good read for anyone who enjoys fantasy novels.

I've read other novels with this type of premise and was not impressed with their world building. So, I'm interested to see what is so special about this one.

However I will say, Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl both have impressive worlds, so it has to be pretty good to beat those.

The idea of School of souls sounds kind of interestings. I also runaway from cliffhanger endings so may give the series a try once all the books are published.

I absolutely love the plot of this book. I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of reincarnation and I’m very interested in knowing if Harmony gets to break the cycle with Kaleb.
I think the message of the book is great too: ultimately we’re here to learn.
Great and enthusiastic review, thanks!

A YA novel purporting that Earth is a school for souls, that soulmates exist, and that reincarnation is all around us sounds absolutely fantastic.

It sounds interesting that Harmony has to keep returning to Earth for more lessons and in different time periods. This sounds like it would make a good movie.

Doesn't sound like a terribly original premise, but the way you talk about her traveling to different time periods, I do wonder, is her trip back not always to a time ahead of where she left? You make it sound like she could go back to any random time period, and that might be interesting.

Thanks for your review! I hate cliffhangers too! Well it just means there’s a sequel! Your review makes me want to read it right away. Just a little confused at first why a soulmate would want you to die young, but I get it now.

I thought this was a very interesting book about the afterlife. I began with only the sample but am sure that I will finish reading this novel. It has a very interesting concept with Veronica traveling between Earth which seems to be her school and her home that I'm still unsure of where is. This certainty keeps you guessing and makes one wonder how the story will play out for Veronica.

I was enlightened by the review. I am Catholic, but (surprise!) I do not discount reincarnation. Death and the hereafter are such a mystery; nobody really knows what is out there! Harmony and Kaleb seem to be a fascinating couple to follow over their many lives. I can't wait to meet them both and prove BriennaiJ right.
