I am the messenger by Markus Zusak

This book is probably more for mature teens because there was some swearing and violence involved. But this book was honesty amazing, it was a really good read and I enjoyed it so much. It was recommended to me by one of my teachers in high school and I would recommend this to anyone. :D :techie-studyingbrown:

I liked the book very much. I started it after reading "The Book Thief", so was a little disappointed, but I think I should not have compared the two in the first place. This book was an easy read and immensely enjoyable, but I was dumbfounded by the ending. It did not make any sense to me until I read some reviews and discussions and realized what had really happened.

The book thief by Markus Zuzak was invaluable. I think I am going to try this one too.

I have read both The Book Thief and I Am The Messenger, and while I enjoyed reading both, I did like The Book Thief more. What I did appreciate though, was the character developments. The motivation to seize the day, help the community and to put yourself out there... invaluable advice. It's a a life lesson many do not learn, and that is a shame.
