It really seems like this book had all the potential to be more than just okay. Too bad about the errors and lack of character development. I agree about the profanity [non]usage. It is pointless to allude to the word instead of actually using it when anyone reading the book can just fill in the blanks. Thank you for the insightful review.

Don't I just loooove your reviews, it's almost like having a face to face conversation. Simple and straight to the point.

Perhaps the author was trying to give Valentine the vampire a deeply spiritual persona when he was including the bibilical stuff.

Too bad he missed the point and the character ended up being inconsistent. I would have loved to see the author get away with a deeply religious vampire for a main character. Just to savour the irony of it.

If there are two things that I hate its lack of character development and cliff hanger endings. I probably won't be reading this one.

Very interesting review. I like that you mentioned that there is a lot more to the book than just being another run-of-the-mill vampire story. That being said, I don't care for the vampire genre, but I think other readers might like this one.

I love that word - tweaking. A lot of books are like that, where you think the story is pretty good and it's just missing a little oomph to make it wonderful.
