Im not as familiar with Russian folklore as I am with Greek and Roman, but I do remember Baba Yaga and love that this BOTD is using a little modern with a little old and giving all the characters distinctive personalities... that really makes it pop!

Lovely review. Little Yaga is kind and has a big heart. However, from the cover this book seems like a children's book. I agree with you on that.

I found the book charming, especially the illustrations. Although the title sounds like it's a book for children, the writing did also occur to me as more fitting for teens. I only got to read the sample, and from your review, I think I will definitely enjoy reading the rest of the story.

Thats an amazing book.I gree with you on the fact that its a book for children and teens .learning about Little Yaga's life experience
