Seems like an adult tale , the book depicts the changes that actually adam goes through while in amidst of puberty.sounds quite natural n being close to biological world book is written in catchy words and the title itself speaks a lot.

Thank you for sharing your review! I have always been a fan of the X-Men and superheroes so I am excited to find out that this book does have some similarity. I am definitely going to have to read this one and find out more Adam and Carly.

A supernatural story engrossed around super humans with mutated traits and biokenretic abilities and the travails with their mortal enemy. That's a good premise for a supernatural novel and I also agree it'll make a great movie. However, the review was great and of course I love sci-fi novels.

A Unique Young Adult Sci-Fi fantasy novel with Russian Ancestry, mutated humans, called descendants who have biokenretic abilities. Adam falls in love with Carly and everything changes. A young love story with full of romance. Thanks for the insightful review.

Great review! I've just downloaded my copy and now I can't wait to read it. Quite interested to find out more about biokenretic people as I've never came across this word before.

This reminds me of the many books I've read about supernatural creatures being captured and experimented on by scientists, but I like the idea of the characters having mutations since it makes the book seem more unique. Definitely a book I can see myself enjoying.

This sounds similar to "Twilight" but with more action. Very promising! Thanks for your thoughtful review!

The first thing that got my attention on Opaque, was the book's prologue, a tale well combined with a gleefully eccentric teenage romance. The book talks about young adults fantasy with its intriguing twists that can captivate a readers attention from the the beginning of the story to the story's epilogue. Great work on the book Calix Leigh-Reign

Great review, it sounds like a great book. Not sure if it would be one I would want to finish. Just reading the sample I begin to get bored with the book. Things could have changed if I would continue reading further into the book. From the review it sounds like it had got better.

While it seems like this book has some really unique sci-fi elements, I'm a bit sick of reading about teenage boys going through hard times in their life, magic powers or no. That's just personal preference, but I'll probably still give this book a pass.

I first read the incredible onlinebookclub review of the book which forced me to read the entire book and I was not disappointed. The plot was captivating and i found myself finishing the book in 2 days.

The review makes the book sound interesting although I am neither a young adult or a fan of science fiction. But I am going to read it anyway because the related figures with different mutations could provide an unusual plot device.

Just started reading this and it seems intriguing.i love YA books and I love fantasy stories. Reading the review I'm interested in finding out more about Adam. His thoughts are the beginning about his mum are disturbing but I'm hoping this is explained more and dissolves.
