This fast-paced YA novel about an age-old battle between the descendants of seven Russian families born with a mutation that grants them special abilities, and the Iksha, evil scientists who want to steal their abilities, sounds like it would grab the attention of any scifi enthusiast. Thanks for the great review!

I love the sound of "Carly is the yin to Adam's yang". It's funny how Adam thought others were different while he was the different one all along. Who could want his kind killed? I'd have to find out.

My first impression is that I would not like the background of the story. I do not like mutated parts. Whoa! But what is a Limbar ring? What is biokenretic? Foolish me! I Found new words in the review that I immediately guessed to be borne of pure imagination only. I know I would not find it as an official word in a dictionary but still tried to take a look. The review says it! It is a superhero-type story. Similar to X-men. With a highlighted story part about love, perhaps it is more of Spiderman, in my opinion. I think a lot would like the story. It promises the action and romance of a young superhero. It is still as much of an adult as a young adult genre. Nice!

Sounds very exciting! Since it's YA, I'm not sure if I'll completely enjoy it but surely younger readers will find it interesting.

Very unique storyline from the sci-fi i usually read about. Looking forward to reading more about Adam and his coming of age story in a peculiar world of mutations.

This YA science-fiction sounds very interesting. I like that the main character goes through normal everyday problems that other teenagers face. I look forward to reading it and thank you for the review.

Thanks for your review. Adam's life is kind of disturbing with his unusual love for his own mother and his attitude towards everyone. I'm not sure if this story is suitable for teenagers.

I quite admire the brief detail of Carly's character. She could be the one leading me to this interesting book.

This fantasy book is on another level. It contsins romance, fantasy, and fiction. Young Adam is lost, but when he meets Charly, he realizes his life has a meaning. It is beautiful and interesting at the same time.

While this sounds like a great story, it is not really something I would spend too much time reading. I find these sci-fi/fantasy stories a bit too far fetched and so will give this one a miss. Thanks for the review though.

It's true when they say don't judge a book by its cover. I thought this book was full of war and violence. Well, it seems from your review that it has more romance than one could think. Thank you for your great review.
