I was so sad when the first part of the series ended. I wanted the story to continue. I will definitely be checking out the continuation. I was partucularly fascinated by Adam, even as I felt disgusted by some of his emotions. I tried so hard not to judge and I think I failed many times. This was a wonderful review, said everything without saying too much.

The Scion Saga series is an exhilarating young adult series of adversity, bravery and determination that chronicles the lives of the 16-year olds Adam and Carly, who embark on familial adventure.

The story line seems to be great. I love the well done review. This seems to be a great read though for me, science-fiction is not my favourite.

A YA novel about a teenaged boy coming to terms with his mutation sounds exciting! I like that there is the romance aspect also weaved into the storyline so there is something for readers who aren't quite as fond of the sci-fi genre. Looking forward to reading this book of the month! Thanks for your fantastic review!

I recently finished this novel and I agree, there were times I could not put it down. I thought Adam was disturbing in the beginning, but after meeting Carly, he became a better individual. The only thing I didn't like was that there was no closure for Terry's family. That was sad, but I really enjoyed this novel.

The cover is intriguing and speaks of extraordinary power and mystery. I would like to find out how the romance will develop between the young main characters. It looks like it is made for movies or series. Congrats!

This sounds like a very well-written YA sci-fi book. Your review was very energetic and thorough! However, I'm not the sci-fi reader that many people are. I like my books to be realistic. Thanks for a great review!

Superheroes aren't my thing, but this sounds like this was written well and the mutations are integrated into the characters' personalities well. Thanks for the review!

A mesmerizing tale of mutated humans who are having biokenretic abilities is nicely presented in the young adult Sci-Fi fantasy novel "Opaque" by Calix Leigh-Reign, which follows 16-year old Adam who undergoes biokenretic change. The setting in Piure, California with essence of Russian ancestry, and romance makes it interesting to read.

I love the review.Opaque is now on my list of must read novels. I love young adults and more so those with supernatural gifts. Not to mention the character development that Adam goes through.

Maybe I'm too old for young adult fiction, but from the review this series seems engaging and I love a good story of superheroes!

A "YA Sci-Fi fantasy novel that entails mutated Limbal rings, Russian ancestry, and romance” sounds interesting. However, I'm not a fan of this genre. I'll pass on this one.

Opaque by Calix Leigh-Reign, a book about mutated Limbal rings and Russian ancestry mixed with romance sounds really amazing. I'm usually too picky when it comes to YA science fiction books. I'm intrigued by this book and I can't afford skipping it and so I will consider reading it. Congratulations to the author on the BOTD. Great review.
Books are beautiful.
