Weak female leads definitely hurt a story. It does sound like an interesting premise that young people might enjoy.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

Judging by the review, the is an intriguing story. When romance is mixed with any other aspect of life, everything on stage becomes second scene. Indeed this is a must read book.

To be honest I haven' yet read this book; I just downloaded it. I was interested to see what others thought of it so I read your review. the way you write it makes sound like a typical scifi story intertwined with a typical girl meets boy romance. That aside there must have been a wow factor that kept you reading and I can't wait to find out what that is.

Simplicity is the best for me but it shouldn't be so obvious. I will consider this read, thank you for the review.

This sounds like a great book, an easy beach read maybe? I often read heavy, complex books, so this should make for a nice change of pace.

Thanks for the review. The one question I have is about the romance - what is the tone of the romance? Hot and heavy action or sweet and innocent or somewhere in between? Knowing that influences whether I would be interested or not.

Thanks for the great review! I find it very unique because it provided both a sci-fi and romance genre with a twist. The details of the book was well explained. I now became interested in reading it.

Thanks for your review. I, as a reader would love a simple read sometimes especially if it is a fiction under the young adult genre.

I don't usually read science fiction but this book sounds like it has an ample amount of romance so I'm all for it. I also don't mind when female leads need to get saved once in a while. Great review!

The summary makes the premise of this book sound akin to the Twilight series but with aliens instead of supernatural beings. Sounds like it could be a decent beach read.

The book has its dose of romance combined with aliens and intrigue - just my favourite topics. I think it would be interesting to read this book. Thanks for the review.

This looks like the usual "guy saves the girl from accident" sort of YA novel. Still, I think the alien twist is enticing. I've been reading too much adventure fiction lately that I think a little romance would feel refreshing. Thank you for your review!

Stories of aliens make me antsy. I don't like them but, it looks like I would like From The Sky.

This book has a perfect 5 star rating at Amazon. One reviewer says that there is a plot twist on every page. And the book is free! No reason not to read it.

Thank you for your detailed, honest review. I share your sentiment of having a strong female lead. The first two chapters I read, Sam did need help from the stranger who saved here and her dad to guide her. I'm somewhat excited to read this book, since I could finish it in a day.
