I'm looking forward to this, though I'm no young adult. I love sci-fi and am in need of a quick read - thanks for letting us know - so this will probably fill the bill. I did have problems with the download of the book - can't read it on my Whisper and it is still taking forever to download on Kindle for PC. On the Cloud Reader the print is tiny. But I've made it through a few chapters and ma hoping when it comes through on Kindle for PC I can view it in larger print.

Seems interesting enough. Uncomplicated plot with a little romance and some sci fi. I still enjoy young adult fictions. Might try this one. Thanks for a great review.

I find the character of Samantha Hunter interesting. She is haunted by the death of her brother and mother. Because of her father’s new job in New Mexico, they have to change residence. Everything begins here.

I'm checking this one out just because it is a young adult book. This is the first one in a while that I've seen as BOTD. That cute Lucien probably won the vote!

I understand your points about the transition and the female lead. I'm glad you liked the book overall though. Thanks for the honest and well written review.

This sounds like a very interesting blend of genres. Maybe with some editing the transitions can be more fluent; congrats on BOTD to the author!

Great review! However, I do not believe this book is for me. I am not a fan of sci-fi or the young adult genre. In the other hand, with its few faults aside, it sounds like a great read for readers that enjoy this particular genre.

Beautiful book cover. I am not very clear on what makes this book scifi aside from a reference in the review about aliens. the story does sound interesting and would probably be a good read for those who like the genre.

I am not a Sci-Fi fan, but I have downloaded the book because of what you said in the beginning of your review about Survival Guilt. I found this to be interesting, and I would like to read about how Sam gets through this. Thank you so much for your review! :-)

Looks like a fun YA sci-fi romance book. Grieving human teen girl has a romance with an enticing alien boy. Your review encouraged all of us who would enjoy a simple, but intriguing read to take a look...thanks!

Despite the problem of connection of chapters, I think the book is worthy Reading.I like the review it displays a perception of what the novel is all about.
