I'm not reading yet this book and i think to get a copy for myself to read it. But from this review i'm going to not be happy about the story. Maybe it's because you said that the female lead is weak and maybe she's always relying on the male character, the alien. Thanks for your review, it help me to know the storyline before read this book. 8)

Sometimes it is indeed good to have a quick read that takes a day, especially with a compelling, sci-fi themed plot.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

Before reading this review I had not considered reading this book. However, the alien encounters intrigue me. And it also hits home somewhat, being that my parents moved the family while I was in high school. So the idea of seeing the transition from one school to the next thru someone else's eyes will be interesting. I have discovered that I need a light read from time to time. I was reading mostly heavy, self improvement stuff then the old phrase-all work and no play makes Teri a boring girl-came to mind. The lighter fiction I have been reading lately makes me much happier and life more enjoyable.

I don't think that I'd like the romance combined with the not-so-strong female lead in this one. I don't think that the simple plot would be for me either. Great review though, really let me know what to expect.

Death is part of life but the kind of grief that sam is going through is not easy,we all need to learn from this.

I like sci-fi stories with realism in them, so the romance part is welcome. I can't wait to know what secrets are up the sleeve of Sam's boyfriend. Thanks for a great review.

Glad to see books like this that deal with complex issues like survivor's guilt instead of shying away from them. Will probably check it out.

I appreciate the fact that the book brings to light the life of those filed with guilt of their past. I would live to read it so that I can help such guilt victims. hanks for your position on the book, as reflected on your review.

This book seems like an intriguing story which focused on Aliens from outer space. However, Samantha in this story shows a weak character which contradicts to the character I want.

From The Sky by J. E.Nicassio is a romantic Sci-Fi geared at YA whereby a H.S. student moves to New Mexico, and starts life over with an alien. This book has a 4 out of 4 stars.

People learn a lot from parallel circumstances. Lawyers call this 'precedent', and they use it to win cases.

People, like Samantha, have experienced survival guilt or simply the discomfort of losing all or almost all the members of their family in a war, accident or during a trip.

Then if you, like Lucien, have a lot of what other people do not have have, you cannot live a 'free' life, so is anyone by your side.
