I loved the way this book is reviewed. It is not easy to review a book on neutral basis, without being biased. But a very good effort by the writer and the reviewer both have made.
It is not easy to face bullying from schoolmates, but from the review I can sense that the author of the story has described the feelings of a girls very well who was the victim of bullying by her school fellows as her biological father's identity was unknown.
I loved the theme of the book and would love to read this as soon as possible.

Thats quite a nice review. Young adult is not actually my genre but i think i will proceed to read the book and get some lessons on how t tackle life problems just as Pete did. The review is detailed and informative enough. :)

I love it when YA authors don't dumb down their content as if they are talking to 12 year olds. YA has come a long way and is read by people of all ages. Especially how teens today are more affected by serious issues, both in society and in their personal lives, its important to write YA books with that in mind. The Tower sounds intriguing. Ill definitely put it on my to read list.

Probably, all people can relate to that story. Bullying may result to low self esteem or to make it a stepping stone out of stumbling blocks.

Issues many have to deal with in life not knowing their parents and moving from one region to another as a total stranger such a story is a common one i personally have dealt with moving from state to state , house to house and church to church it certainly isnt funny.

While some may say that it is relatable to most middle school aged preteens, I don't believe it is. Pete goes through more than most her age. She gets through it. So, it is still a good story for that age group because it may minimize the problems they may be going through, and make them realize that it will be okay.
