Great review! I can tell that this book has got to go to the top of my TBR list. I love a good YA dystopian read as well as all things supernatural. Thank you so much for sharing.

I'm interested to learn what the paranormal twist is to this one. I like the premise - seems like a unique twist on the dystopian genre. Great job on the review :)

Sounds like a great read. I myself enjoy dystopian literature. I find myself to enjoy a novel that can make you wonder about your own life reality and draws you in. A writer who can write about paranormal events without them seeming unrealistic, provides you with an interesting read. Great review!

Great review! I have to admit, at first I thought this dystopian premise wasn't very unique, but the hints of paranormal happenings and the fact that you gave it 4 out of 4 stars are enough to make me want to give it a chance. :)

Not only was the sample pages of this book interesting, your review made it sound better. I wasn't sure if this was one I would want to read, but maybe now I will have to give it a shot. Great job on this review. It made me, the uninterested one :D interested.

This definitely caught my attention after reading this review and then the sample. I think it will make it on my TBR as a unique, but realistic, dystopian novel is always a breath of fresh air for me.

It's been awhile since I read a good young adult dystopian series and I'm hoping this series can help me get back on the wagon. I agree that I would rather read about the action than the politics of what's going on with the government, but I'm intrigued to see how they all line up together.

This sounds like a really interesting book. I like the paranormal aspect. I haven't read any dystopian novels that have the paranormal part so it sounds really cool. Great review!

Thanks for the review. I agree with you that teens do need to know about poverty and social inequality in today's world. Many just see the world and technology around them and don't think of others who may not be as lucky as they are.
