Interesting. A story of two orphaned siblings from their childhood to teenage years. I would love to read more about Star's dreams that helped shaped her personality. Thank you for your review!

This books sounds ideal for those who enjoy family stories. I cannot imagine how hard it must be for children to have their environment taken away from them. I am glad you had such a pleasant experience read this story. Thanks for the review!

Sounds interesting! Has some realistic approach in it. The idea of children been raised in different environments are not new but the matter is interesting to some one who has no experience in that side. I also note the emotional rides in this book seem a very lively book. Love to read it!

The review shows much than what I would have expected from the few pages I had sampled. That brief summary of Star and Thatcher gives an idea of how the book has been written. You seem to have enjoyed reading this book.

I wonder what makes the grandmother an "erratic artist". That's the part that captured my attention. I will check this out.

A relationship between grandparents and grandchildren is unique. I still remember my summer vacations at my grandpas' home. This book has a beautiful theme. Grandparents really help us grow up. Good thing the writing style makes the reader immerse in the story. Thanks for the review!
