It sounds like a great book, except for the errors and graphic sexual scenes. The beginning is very attention getting.

For a book that seems to be eye catching to turn out a bore is a big disappointment. Thanks for the honest review

Sounds like a a good premise for a book. It is a shame that the book is poorly written.

I read the sample, and I'll be honest, I wasn't really impressed. I thought it was confusing and the author used a lot of repetition in word choice.

From the review, I can feel your frustrations. The sample isn't inviting either. I won't be keeping this one on my shelf though.

This is not a great book to read based on your review.

MC spends his last night by telling the guard about his father's story. That's not how I would spend my last hours. Too bad there were a lot of factors which lead you to give a low score. Nonetheless, thank you for your honest review!

The number of grammatical errors in the first couple of pages were enough to put me off. I commend you for battling on through it!

Your review is super helpful! Thank you so much for letting us know that this book is NOT suitable for YA! I'm a high school teacher, and we have a book recommendation board in our classroom. Obviously, I'm not able to read every book, so I depend on reader reviews (such as yours) to give me details. I greatly appreciate your honesty! :-) Too bad the author of today's #BOTD didn't take more steps along the way to make sure this was written and edited better. I guess, you can't win 'em all!

Thanks for your review - it was super helpful, honest, and informative. I don't do well with books that are sexual in nature so adding sexual violence to the mix is throwing it over the top. I also noticed quite a few grammatical errors in the couple of pages I read. It's safe to say I'll skip.

Wow, this book sounds terrible. I like the premise, but that's about it. Thanks for the warning, I won't be reading this.

This is intense..I know theres a plot which is good..but I am expecting not too much violence supposed to be,it makes me imagined bad things too much,as I am too emotional,I hate the father himself even Jim.a lot of rapes and murders!

I think the book is a great non-fiction adventure, and if one could try and read past the spelling errors and other blunders in the book, it would be a good read.
