Wow! Medieval stories work for me and i love it the more after noticing its focus on the gender inequalities with some disguise and a female taking a step in a lead. I have no problem with short books because i always want to read know what happened impatiently and finish though leaving me in suspence kills mi, i take days thinking about what would have happened

Thanks for a great review. I do like a good book about magic and medival times. And i have yet to read a gender swap book. Perhaps it is time.

I love twists on old classics like this one. I love that it takes place in modern day and she's whisked away to Sherwood Forest. Thanks for the great review. I'll have to look into this one.

I love the idea of a female protagonist in this Robyn hood twist. I think it will show great contrast between how the sexes are treated differently to younge readers. Can't wait to read!!

Congratulations on a thorough review! I could tell that Robyn Howard is a strong female character. I love how the author changed the genders of most known medieval characters from male to female. The genderbending would surely help the readers see the characters in a different light.

I love a good story that will take you into the world the author creates. This book sounds like it does just that. Thank you for the review!

Great review! I love reading books about historical folklore. It sounds fun and exciting. I like the switch to a female main character and female supporting characters in a predominately male story. I look forward to finish reading this story.

I enjoy the classic rewrites that have been done lately. This book seems to not only rewrite the classic starting with modern times, but also addresses the gender bias that has have been a controversial topic lately in social media. Beyond the heavy topic, it allows for a fun story of Robyn and her merry women.
It's Always Worth the Read.

Thanks for the great review. I wasn't really sure how I felt about the writing after reading the sample. The first couple pages, the dialogue seems really strained, like the author is trying way to hard to remember how teenagers actually talk. And the principle seems way over the top.

However, in the second chapter, Robyn's thoughts and the dialogue with her dad seem to be much smoother and more realistic. Maybe the story gets better as the author gets more acquainted with his characters?

I do really enjoy the concept of female Robyn Hood and the band of merry women, and I like how he introduces the plot with the genealogy connection.
