I really appreciate your input on the character development and overall plot of this YA novel. It appears that I'll be able to get to know Luke and Theo very well throughout as I read it. Nice review.

I agreed with the reviewer on everything noted about
The character development, the plot, and the editing in this book
. Additionally, the vocabulary used prior to chapter one (maybe a dream sequence) as well as that used by Luke as he contemplated his surroundings on his first few days at the beach was superb. People who admire a clever use of language will like this book.

Great review! The story doesn't look like my cup of tea since I don't usually care for YA novels. Still, I like that the plot seems more unique than a standard light read about teenage romance.

I commend the author for no grammatical errors and for keeping the book in present tense. I don't like this type of romance so I probably won't be reading this book though.

hsimone wrote:Thank you for such a detailed review! I love the idea that Luke is falling for a boy and must decide who he wants to be with. Also, the fact that there aren't that many characters (so we can really get to them) is very appealing to me. I'd rather really get to know characters than have a bunch that are not memorable. Congratulations to the author for receiving such a positive review!
I agree. Great review on today's book of the day.

Not my kind of book, but it definitely looks like a good read and I'm sure a lot of people will love it.

This one is probably not for me, other than I would truly appreciate experiencing a point of view that I have not had to deal with. Thanks for the review!

Great review. Congratulations to the author for being BOTD. Usually I am not a big fan of YA but after reading the review I'll be reading this. I think the love triangle sounds interesting and challenging.

Well-written and insightful review! Although I enjoyed the sample and you gave it a perfect score, I just do not enjoy books that contain this type of relationship. However, congrats to the author for the raving review and for writing such a well edited book.
