This is a profound review. Thanks a lot for it. I would love the theme of the family because I am not a fan of the magic world. I also like the fact that the linguistic devices are used very well, especially the descriptive style.

Thanks for the review. This magical story is just perfect for me. I love the storyline, as well as the fact that the animosity between the Hostiles and Moojie's actual family is not something where we can easily designate one party as black and another as white. The imagery sounds beautiful. I suppose this could be thought as some kind of a fable, where the story of exploration of one's inner strength is presented with an enchanting outline.

A book that highlights the importance of family, unconditional acceptance and self discovery. The plot sounds like one that will definitely elicit empathy for the main character. It's a pity about the hitches from the second part though.

I like the sound of this - a little intrigue, a little mystery, a supernatural element, a special needs kid, and a search for family. Excellent concept.

What makes the Hostiles so fascinating to Moojie, and why does his grandfather hate them so? I’m curious, but I’m not sure this book could keep my attention through the middle. Thanks for the review!

Every child wants to be loved and cared for but when that feeling is met by loneliness and The thought of having no one to call home, strength and courage will be needed to make a home even in the midst of a hostile world. These are what I see in the life of Moojie, an abandoned disabled child. This book was worth the reading

The thing about the boy losing his adoptive mother and looking for the right family is touching. So, I guess I would love the story.

This sounds like a very interesting and good book. It has great writing, strong characters and an intriguing plot. I also like the focus on family. It's too bad it drags in the middle, but I would give this book a try. Thanks for your review.
