I've only read the first few pages, but I certainly want to read to the end. Now that i've read your review, I'll know not to lose heart in the middle.

family the most important part of someome's life which teaches the child and help him / her in the difficult times this story revolves around that wen he lost his family in the early stage of his lyf he gets distracted from its path the story has many intresting things like the mojjies affairs with hostiles and villian character of grandfather and many more to be read i will rate 4 out 4

I love magical realism so I'm sure I'll enjoy The Improbable Wonders of Moojie Littleman. I'm intrigued by the idea of the supernatural clan that wants Moojie to join them. I'm wondering why he would want to. Considering that they are called the Hostiles, you would think they aren't very friendly. I can't wait to really get into the story. Thanks for the great review.

Thank you for the in depth review. When I downloaded the book I put it to my "not interested in reading" shelf as neither young adult nor fantasy are my choice of genres. Even though your review intrigued me about the book, especially the part about the supernatural clan asking questions as riddles, the part about the middle having slow moving momentum (which I appreciated your honesty) convinced me this is not the book for me.

A mother's love is one that is immeasurable...this review tells me that the book covers one major issues that young youth actually face which is the yearn for love..it sounds amazing to me..a nice review by JM Hill and of course an applause to d writer's sensitivity to societal problems

A disabled boy trying to find love in the society is a tale needed to be told. It would seem that the character is very relatable and the setting which is 1800s caught my interest. Since you mentioned it is rather a slow read, I would set aside the book for now but be sure to read it if i have the time. Thanks for the review!

This book sounds intriguing, and I'm fascinated by the 1800s setting. I'm a fan of magic realism as well, so this book sounds like it'd be a good match for me. My only reservation is the sagging middle, but hopefully the rest of the book truly makes up for it. Thank you for the insightful review.

I think the story definitely sounds like it has promise, though the plot as a search for family isn’t one that I’m especially interested in.
