Recommendations for Skulduggery Pleasant reader?

Post by FrootNinja »

Hey guys,

I've been struggling with finding a new series to read. I've recently finished the series Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy, and I've got to say that that is now my most favorite series. The books are beautifully written in that there is a whole load of action and at the same time a lot of comedic relief. So, after I finished this series I've been feeling a bit empty and was wondering if anyone else has ready something similar to Landy's masterpieces?

I also love any YA fiction, and of course I'm a sucker for romance (just a bit :P ). I also enjoy it if the series (or book) is predominantly action-based with a bit of romance (not too much cheesy stuff, though). I'm a bit picky with the romance though---I dislike insta-love...

Well thanks for reading this and for any recs anyone can bring forth!

Have you read the Magnus Chase series by Rick Riordan? It's defiantly a great read!
