Who is your favorite YA author?

The answer to this question will always be J.K. Rowling. That being said, I do enjoy a variety of books. Right now my favorite author(s) are Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. I downloaded a copy of the audio book Illuminae and fell in love. I’m about halfway through Gemina now and I can’t seem to stop listening to it. The format of the novels are a bit different from any that I’ve read before but I am absolutely loving it!

My favorite YA author is Sarah J Maas. I love her Throne of Glass series. I also like Cassandra Clare and her series The Mortal Instruments.

I guess J.K. Rowling given how much I love Harry Potter. But I dunno if thats necessarily YA - books 1-3 definitely feel more like Children's books. But I guess her. I'm not a fan of most other books for YA like Hunger Games, etc.

My favourite is Jenny Han. I loved all her books and I can relate to her characters very well. And also Amy Zhang because we literally are book twins!

I have 2 favorites... Ernest Cline of Ready Player One fame is my favorite. I also really like Jay Asher's 13 Reasons Why. I've been a fan of the book long before Netflix made a series of it. Both are incredible ]with lots of emotional depth and great storytelling.

That's hard, there are a lot of good YA authors out there. But I think Josephine Angelini is my favorite. Her Starcrossed Trilogy was really REALLY amazing, I need to get my hands on the Worldwalker series next.
Josephine is also really cool herself, she interacts with her readers quite frequently on twitter and her blog.

Suzanne Collins. The hunger games trilogy was dark, intense and captivating. I couldn't put the books down and I read and reread them over and over again.

There are so many great young-adult authors in the recent years that I find it hard to choose. I really love Cassandra Clare. The Shadowhunters books and spin offs are one of my favorite series of books.

However, after readind The Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard, I may have changed my mind. I think that she genuinely captures the interests of my imagination through her characters in ways that I find extremely relatable to every day life.

So I am a fan of both!

My favorite YA author is C.L Stone. I love academy series. Especially the ghost bird series.

My favorite Young Adult author has to be Kiera Cass. I absolutely love the Selection Series and I think it was interesting how she changed the setting of the book when America has a child. The rules change and it is interesting to see both the contestant and picker side of the Selection. She is an amazing and talented writer.

I love Rainbow Rowell. Eleanor and Park slayed me and Fangirl was so much fun. I resisted reading Carry on Simon but it may have been my favorite of all.

My daughter and I love to read Jacqueline Wilson. "The Story of Tracy Beaker" and "Hetty Feather" are some of her best known works.

I must say J.K Rownling since I am a Harry Potter fan. As for other authors I also like Gayle Forman, Kiera Cass, Ransom Riggs and Madeleine Roux.
