What DOES await us there?… Excellent question!Miriam Molina wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 20:47 I am Catholic and look forward to the afterlife, mine hopefully a glorious one. What awaits us there? Nobody really knows. I think this book would be good for young readers; amidst the lure of the world, they need more material to make them grounded.
I think the fact that no one knows makes it that much more mysteriously alluring. I’d love to find out what younger readers in the target age group would think of this one as a whole (because it at least suggests to them that living a good life might give them a better chance at experiencing a good afterlife).

Well the good thing about this one is that it’s not really scary at all! It certainly wouldn’t fit into the horror genre; it’s more of an “other fiction” YA novel. But I totally see and respect your viewpoint and cautious hesitation!gbadegesin Akanni wrote: ↑20 Nov 2021, 21:04 Ok since it has been showed from review i will just jump and pass am not interesting in horror or kind of ghost aspect because it get me freak and scary

Thanks so much!! This one is thought-provoking and only minimally scary so it’s also a nice work of historical fiction too.

This one piqued my interest in a lot of ways, and I’m sure it would leave many readers pondering the possibilities of an afterlife. The ghostly characters and paranormal portals certainly kept me guessing!MsH2k wrote: ↑27 Nov 2021, 23:21 This book has quite a few deep topics. Mixed with the ghost fiction and paranormal lore, it sounds like an intriguing story. I'm not one for hanging out by gravesites when I don't have to, so I will pass on this one.
