I enjoy fictions with an attribute of historical facts and a bit informative. The mere suggestion of teenagers using real guns for any reason is unacceptable. The review outlined the strengths and shortfalls of the book, which in my opinion, is impressive. Good job!

This story about strong women.The most amazing part of story is mystery things. Its very amazing book. I prefer to teenager to read this book. It has soo muchh twist .I really like this.

Contrary to some previous comments, I found the characters to be quite believable. People pressed unwillingly into dangerous and mysterious circumstances often rise to the occasion by calling on a visceral fortitude they did not know they possessed. Also, teenagers faced with supernatural enemies that threaten their very existence and that of their families sometimes need to use whatever means possible to protect themselves and those they love. I liked this story for several reasons: very strong female characters - the very tight bond between the two protagonists - the tie into Native American history and culture - the detail and strong development of all the characters and their relationships. It is basically a fantasy story, so some leeway must be given for literary licenses taken. It is an excellent story with many surprises.
