I like that the old and young can benefit from reading the book. It's creative of the author to tailor the book for a wide audience. I hope the errors and swear words are taken out in subsequent editions. Great review.

This sounds enchanting! I love when books for children have flawed protagonists. It's so important! It's unfortunate that they have these errors, though! Thank you for this review, kandscreeley.

Yes! Perfect characters teach our children nothing. Iris is fabulous in that way. Thanks!

This sounds like a delightful read with a strong message about accepting your uniqueness. As an adult, I think I would enjoy this story as well. I enjoyed reading your comprehensive and very interesting review!

A mystery fantasy book that can teach young readers to build a positive self-image sounds great, though the profanity seems out of place to me. Thanks for sharing your review!

The profanity was a bit jarring. Luckily, it didn't happen often. Thanks for your comments!

It is great when middle-grade books are also enjoyable to adults. It makes it easier for the adult to read along with their child and stay engaged. Iris definitely sounds like a character I would want my child to be able to be like.

As much as my love for self-help isn’t quite as enthralling to you, fantasy isn’t always my favorite, but this one sounds pretty good! Iris seems to be a character with qualities that readers could identify with. I need to look into the sample pages and see if it’s a good fit! Thanks for the insight.

This one would be good for even those that don't usually go for fantasy. It had a lot of different elements that made it enjoyable. Still, if you usually go for self-help, this one might not be for you. Thanks!

The protagonist kind of reminds me of My Little Pony's Pinkie Pie: an eccentric girl with some odd, inexplicable premonitions. I have a soft spot for good light-hearted fantasy stories, so this could be something worth checking out. Thanks for the review!
