I liked Morpheus the most because he brought out the real Al and I liked that. He made her feel things and, although Jeb did too, Morpheus was more adamant in showing Alyssa who she is and what she could become if she only let herself.

Morpheus was always the one that I wanted Al to get with, but perhaps that is because I always preferred the bad boy. Jeb always cared for her but there were times that I felt he was holding her back from her true potential. I actually did not like how Howard ended the trilogy, though I do understand why it was done in such a way. Having Al spend her human lifetime with Jeb and after his death go to live with her other love Morpheus allowed people from both camps to feel like they got their happy ending. I however, felt sorry for Morpheus having to spend that time apart from her.
