I guess it would depend on where you are to begin with and how much money you have. If money was no problem, Scotland! I love Scotland. But I am a cold and mist kind of girl. My husband prefers beaches, so there you go. In the states, anywhere in the old South (think antebellum). Or Montana, gotta love the wilderness.

I absolutely adored Kyoto, Japan. There's old architecture and new architectures mixed in everywhere. From malls, to temples and shrines, and breathtaking landscapes, it has a little bit of everything. I especially enjoyed Arashiyama (the bamboo forest) and its surrounding area. My husband and I went in February of last year, and it snowed the whole week we were there, making it even more magical.

A place with an intimate vibe and privacy to it, that differs from one person to another. Also, somewhere where you both can enjoy each other's company without loud, annoying distractions. Also, a place with activities you both enjoy.

Depends on your budget and with whom you are going. For me, any beach is romantic if I go with my girl friend 😍😍
